One of Joanie's many Nativity Scenes throughout the house. This is on the sofa table, which you see as you come in the front door.
The beautiful stained-glass nativity fireplace screen. Garry Adams, Jon's brother-in-law (husband of Janice) custom made this! He is very talented.
A view of the full living & dining room.
The back deck, just off of the living room, decorated with Christmas garland. This garland follows around the entire house on the railing.
The additional seating area in the living room.
The new buffet! This is located where there used to be the empty nook in the seating area just past the dining room table. It looks really great, and will be used as a drink station and for some storage.
The kitchen with updated cabinets, granite countertops, new appliances, and fun new lighting.
Powder bathroom just off of the living room & kitchen.
Even the Laundry Room got decorated for Christmas! This leads into the Powder Bath and on into the Living Room.

The great tub & chandelier (which you can't really see here) in the Master Bath.
Heading up the stairs to the apartment, you will find the big Santa. And yes, he sings and dances. {Took me by surprise!}
The Living Room area of the "Mother-in-Law Apartment."
The fun, funky lime green & red Christmas tree in the MIL Apartment.

New bathroom updates in the MIL Apartment. New color (chocolate brown), new cabinets & sink, new wall coverings!
Heading down the stairs to the game rooms & more bedrooms, there is beautiful garland on the railings.
The comfiest seats in the house, and the view of the game room.

Heading down the hallway, here is the updated bathroom, which adjoins to the bedroom with 2 beds (which I didn't get any photos of). It is updated with a new bright yellow paint color, new cabinets, fun new sink, and new decor.
First bedroom on the right down the hallway.
Fun new chair & lamp in the first bedroom.
The FUN new bathroom in the first bedroom. Each downstairs bedroom now has its own full bathroom. The walls are a vinyl red texture, the shower is multicolored glass tiles, and the cabinets, sink, and decor are all fun & funky!
This is in the shower, showing the tile walls and the fun shower head!
On to the next bedroom, which is the last room down the hall on the right.

The great big shower in the new bathroom.
More decor in the new bathroom.
Heading out to the Bunkhouse, Dad (Jon) is finishing up the garland for the Tour of Homes.
Entering the Bunkhouse, here is the little dining table. It is decorated & set for Christmas!
The view into the Bunkhouse from the front door. Please pardon the carpet runner down the middle---it was placed there for the Tour of Homes so people wouldn't get mud on the carpet. Normally it is all that fun blue carpet!
Bunkhouse bathroom. The toilet also has some fun Christmas decor.
Since the Bunkhouse is where the little ones usually stay, it is well equipped with lots of cubbies for storage.
In the Bunkhouse, each guest has a "cabin" for their bed. The kids love it! You sleep in the little cubby & can pull the curtain closed for privacy. Each "cabin" has a lamp, and two of them have trundle beds that can be pulled out from underneath. There are 4 total cabins.
The fun red, blue, and white Christmas tree in the Bunkhouse.
The Living Room area in the Bunkhouse. Here there are 2 sofas, which each pull out as sleepers. This is usually where the parents of the little ones in the cabins sleep. There are pocket doors to separate the two areas, and a TV in the armoire.
And on to the Pool House. The first thing you see when you walk in the door is the ever so popular Shuffle Board game table with the new bright orange & yellow stripe and bright blue walls!
Turn the corner and you will have a fun view of the indoor pool. The walls of the room are now painted bright blue, rather than the previous dreary gray. We have accents of bright orange life preservers on the wall, a white lifeguard's stand with yellow tiki umbrella, and the pool noodles the kids float with. The noodle buckets were painted white after I took this picture.
The fun lifeguard's chair looking over the pool, with the tiki umbrella as a fun accent, along with a basket of brightly colored toys.
New brightly colored furniture in white, lime green, purple, and orange provide seating for parents to keep an eye on their swimmers. The poolside swing is the same, and the hot tub is in the back corner.
Brightly colored towels are rolled & ready for swimmers on top of the bar.
We created a nook for sitting & reading your favorite magazine on the opposite side of the pool near the bathrooms.
The fun sports game remains in the room, just turned a different direction, and is accented with large white frames & photos of the kids playing in the pool. The bathrooms are now painted in the bright orange & yellow colors, but cannot be seen in the photos.
All around the Pool House, we now have fun photos of the kiddos enjoying themselves in the pool. This adds a very fun, personal touch to the kids' favorite spot at the Lake.
With the exception of a few rooms I missed with the camera, this shows off all of the updates & Christmas decor at the Lake House. We hope you enjoyed it, and can come see it in person, as the photos just don't do it full justice! Have a very Merry Christmas!
Warmest wishes,
The Dyers
